FRENCH 2 SEMESTER 2
CHAPTER 10
CHAPTER 9
Starting January 31, you will be required to present the first of two graded oral presentations for this quarter. The first oral presentation will be a brief (at least 8-10 sentences) autobiography about YOU. Please be aware that your written autobiographical paragraphs are due no later than Tuesday, January 29. Keep in mind that you are to craft your sentences based on the knowledge you have acquired in class and if I find that Google Translate (or a similar program) was employed to complete your paragraphs, this will result in a zero on the project. Rubrics were handed out in class but here is an attached copy, oral_presentations_rubric.docx
Bienvenue to the second semester of French 2! Because of some of your feedback in person and in the student surveys, I will be implementing the following changes for Quarter 3:
Instead of weighted categories, we will be switching to a straight points system. The quarter will be worth a total of 500 points.
Instead of weekly quizzes, we will shift focus to more graded homework assignments. Unless otherwise stated, homework assignments will be due on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the beginning of class. School policy will apply to late assignments.
20 graded homework assignments-10 points each
2 graded oral presentations- 25 points each
2 chapter quizzes- 100 points each
1 final Quarter 3 test- 50 points
